Funny Animals

    I think it is funny how your pets seem to run your life.  My chocolate Labrador Retriever wakes me up brightly and early by snuggling her head under my pillow until I wake-up laughing and (a) get her outside for an emergency pee-pee/pooh or (b) find a can of dog food to give her or part of a lamb sausage.  When I open the door to the back porch, the birds take over and a Meadow Lark cranks up the volume on her melodic voice, obviously thinking that she is the greatest thing since Barbara Streisand.  My lab tugs on her leash when we go for a walk so she can go through the bushes at some point during the walk.  The most fun for her is to visit with a neighbor's dog or put her face into a child's face on a stoller to simply say "hello." She is gentle and thankfully doesn't bite.  A good day I hope.
